Being an air cadet can earn you extra high school credits! Since 1997, the BC Ministry of Education has formally recognized that certain activities within the Air Cadet program qualify for Educational Credits.
Course Code and Requirements:
- UXCA 10 / Cadet 10 (4 Credits): Cadets successfully complete the Proficiency Level Three Course or a Qualified Introductory Specialty Summer Course
- UXCA 11 / Cadet 11 (4 Credits): Cadets successfully complete the Proficiency Level Four Course or a Qualified Advanced Specialty Summer Course
- UXCA 12 / Cadet 12 (4 Credits): Cadets successfully complete the Proficiency Level Five Course or a Qualified Advanced Specialty Summer Course
Note: Where a Qualified Advanced Specialty Summer Course has been applied towards UXCA 11 / Cadet 11, the same summer course may not be used for UXCA 12 / Cadet 12.
